Manufacturers make up the main pool of exhibitors

Several trade exhibitions on related topics opened today in Almaty: KazBuild Spring, the construction and interiors exhibition, WinTecExpo, the windows, doors and facades exhibition, and KazRealty, the real estate and investment exhibition.
They are the most widely visited spring events in their relevant sectors: last year, the exhibitions were attended by 4,016 professional visitors. The events are organised by Iteca Kazakhstan Exhibition Company together with its international partners.

The three exhibitions this year will present 175 companies from 15 countries. Compared with last year, both the number of exhibitors and exhibition space as a whole have increased by 15%. The exhibition is being hosted in three Atakent Exhibition Centre pavilions (9, 9А, 9В).

148 companies from 7 countries will exhibit at KazBuild and WinTecExpo: Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland and South Korea. Manufacturers have significantly increased their presence at the exhibitions to the extent that they now represent over 80% of all exhibiting companies.

KazRealty will feature 26 exhibitors from 11 countries: Canada, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Portugal, Russia, Thailand, Turkey and Switzerland.

The business programme of the exhibitions is active on an unprecedented scale. Day One will see the Third International ‘Goods. Brands. Technologies.’ Innovation Competition, with a professional judging panel assessing 17 new developments by manufacturers of construction and finishing materials from Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea, and Azerbaijan. A competition catalogue is issued featuring brief technical descriptions and photos of the new developments. At the same time, visitors can find out about the new technologies of Kazakhstan’s construction industry directly at the exhibition, in the Workshop Room of Pavilion 9.

In the first half of Day Two, the Real Estate Forum will take place, attended by Kazakhstan Tier 2 banks, domestic and international building companies. The Forum will feature seven presentations and will be held in a non-stop format.

The pace will be kept up by the Samruk-Kazyna Real Estate Fund JSC round table, on ‘Kazakhstani Representation in Samruk-Kazyna Real Estate Fund JSC’s Construction Projects: Work Results, Challenges and Ways to Address Them, and Prospects.’ The event will take place in Pavilion 9 from 4pm till 6pm. Invitees include investment institutions and domestic and international manufacturers of construction materials and equipment. The round table is planned to conclude with the signing of memorandums of cooperation between Samruk-Kazyna Real Estate Fund JSC and domestic manufacturers of construction materials and equipment.

The exhibitions will be open to visitors until 16 March. Industry professionals who have not, for whatever reason, received invitations to the exhibitions can visit the events free of charge after having registered on http://onsite.iteca.kz/.
