The Exhibitions You Shouldn’t Miss

Business in the present-day world has to be interactive.
Business success is impossible without regular contacts with partners and customers. Participation in topical exhibitions and conferences is a perfect instrument of direct communication. The analysts speak about significant improvement of commercial results after participation in such events. They are reasonably optimistic about business opportunities of the exhibitors, but only on the stipulation that these events are adequately organised. Unsatisfactory organisation of any exhibition winds down all these merits and even does an ill turn to business reputation of the exhibitors. That is the reason why potential exhibitors should only cooperate with professional exhibition organisers.

The professional-orientated exhibitions organised by Iteca are the most popular events among the construction companies of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. These exhibitions cover a wide range of topics: construction and interiors (KazBuild and KazBuild Spring), real estate (KazRealty), windows, doors and façades (WinTecExpo Kazakhstan), and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (Aqua-Therm Almaty). Three construction expo brands – KazBuild Spring, KazRealty and WinTecExpo Kazakhstan – opened the 2011 expo season. These exhibitions were held on 2-4 March 2011 in three Atakent exhibition pavilions. 157 companies from 15 countries – Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan – participated in the joint exposition. The Czech group of exhibitors (10 companies) was the largest. Representation of Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian business was also impressive – 11%, 5% and 4% respectively.

“I was agreeably surprised with the list of exhibitors and with the exhibited innovations,” Kaisar Omarov, Deputy of the Parliament Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Regional Economic Development Committee, commented after a VIP tour of the exhibition. “I participated in 5 opening ceremonies of spring and autumn construction exhibitions organised by Iteca and today it was a pleasure to see the progress of our construction industry and the keen interest of foreign brands in our business market.”

It is noteworthy that according to the online registration results (4,016 registered visitors vs. 4,867 visits) 20% of the visitors worked more than one day at the exposition stands – an excellent indicator of the exhibition’s efficiency.

Construction material manufacturers (70% of all exhibitors) with their innovative products and services displayed increased interest in KazBuild Spring 2011 and WinTecExpo Kazakhstan 2011. Fibreglass panels for modular construction are one of such innovations. As part of the exhibition business programme, the roundtable “Modern Landscape Design of Urban Environment (Residential, Industrial and Transport Territories)” dedicated to the problems of urban environment site-finishing and landscaping was held. At KazRealty 2011, two innovative housing estates – Apple Town by Apple Town Kazakh-Korean JV and Europolis by Europolis – were presented. The commercial real estate was presented by Rixos Residence Kazakh-Turkish JV. Bulgarian, Spanish, Thai, and Ukrainian companies presented foreign real estate.
